About Last Mile Ventures
Why This
Discipline Exists.
Not a biography. An account of why this practice exists, and why we built the capability behind it.
How Decisions
Survive Scrutiny
LMV exists to bring disciplined, independent thinking to decisions that matter.
Most consequential decisions are undone less by missing information than by how the information was weighed, challenged and defended afterward. That is the discipline LMV was built to bring to governance, risk and capital questions.
It is slower and less visible than most advisory work. It is also the kind that holds up over time.
LMV-RIF
LMV-RIF is what makes that discipline repeatable, engagement after engagement.
LMV-RIF is the research and intelligence infrastructure behind the advisory practice — the layer where evidence from across a situation gets structured and connected before LMV forms a view on it.
LMV was founded in 2018 by Sriranjan Seshadri, whose background sits inside the full private capital lifecycle rather than adjacent to it — the experience that shaped the discipline described above.
"We bring the perspective of someone who has sat on the other side of the table — as an investment committee member, as an operating partner, as an institution builder."
What Guides
Every Recommendation
Judgement Makes the Final Call
Frameworks and evidence inform a decision. They do not make it. The final call remains a matter of professional judgement, tested against experience.
No Assets, No Products, No Referral Fees
We manage no assets, distribute no products, and accept no referral fees. Conflicted counsel shapes its advice around what it is paid to sell.
Discretion Is a Form of Respect
The nature of this work means most of it is never seen publicly. That is by design, not by accident.
